La iniciativa fue realizar un estudio para revalorizar el río Rocha como
ecosistema complejo que brinda servicios biológicos a la sociedad,
visibilizando la diversidad de aves y vegetación, dentro del área metropolitana
de su cuenca (Sacaba, Cercado), de manera que, con la información obtenida se contribuyo a la concientización de la población sobre la importancia
de la cuenca del río Rocha para las aves.
